It's like the new TA ads about hospital grade clean showers. Then you see them throwing the used towels in without soap or just straight in the dryer when it's real busy...![]()

For me it's drip and hook but someone else hooks the lines and checks the trailer during the winter time and tells me if I'm good to go and uncooked the trailer me when I park in a pull through spot....I need to find a genie I need to make a wish
-
Forgive me, but "drip and hook", and "uncooked the trailer" gave me a chuckle.
FLATBED Thanks this. -
Sorry phone doesn't like me
"semi" retired Thanks this. -
For me it's less miles, higher pay, just love those signs on back of some trucks, "HOW FAR YOU GOING? WANT TO GO FARTHER?" no!
-
according to my youngest Brother in Law who just signed on with CELADON as a L/O ( his 6th attempt at L/O )
Celadon Owner Operators enjoy driver-friendly freight NO Hazmat; NO Reefers and NO Flat-beds. -
I'm with you there, typically this stereotype fits the smaller business with only one or a few doors on their dock. Those are the best, most friendly loads I ever get...oh and I also like when I get instructions to contact the broker on QC and then when I call them, they act like they don't really care! That's much better than the broker who wants several calls along the way from p/u to del, or better yet the broker that blows up your phone every 15...

So...according to Celadon reefers and skateboarding is NOT driver friendly?
I know several drivers who would probably change that to LAZY DRIVER-FRIENDLY, since I know many that like getting out of the truck to do some physical work...I.e. Loading/unloading. I might agree that hazmat can be a pain if the pay is the same as non hazmat.
