I was afraid that you were heading that way. The pictures from an hour ago were even worse.
So ...how long will it take to gamble your life savings away?
Stay safe out there. -

Finished my delivery of soup at 630 pm. Surprise! A drop and hook. Got an empty and beelined for the Coca Cola plant in Dallas on Lemmon Ave. Had to sweep out my trailer as they insisted on it. Didn't see a trailer wash out place on the way up from Palestine. Anyway, got my load going to Denver. Running I35 to Gainesville and taking US 84 west to US 287, to I 40 and stopping in Moriarty or Albuquerque NM. IF they want on time delivery for Sat 8am, they will have to swap me. Would love to keep it as Saturday will be a nice day in Denver. Stopped at a picnic area for the night. Was under 30 min left on the clock. Didn't want another violation. Kinda noisy here but beggars can't be choosers. Deuces.
passport220 and dennisroc Thank this. -
In Plain well, Mi. waiting for the office people to show up cause guard doesn't sign paperwork to show they have received product. No big deal since I am picking up here for 3 stop load heading home. Might see if I can swap off that so I can be home for Sunday instead of late afternoon Monday. Since I have been here I have only been home on day I requested once. Might call Conrad to get this fixed, not like I run into house with loads of miles.
dennisroc, HometimeQueen and passport220 Thank this. -
Hey everyone,
What do they mean when they say sliding pay scale? Does TransAm have this kind of pay? -
Trans Am is straight pay. Doesn't matter how long or short same pay for all miles. Sliding scale is different pay for the length of haul. Example 0-200 miles is .43, 201-500 miles pays .39, 501-1000 miles pays .35. Just an example some companies do this

After looking at a map, SURPRISE, I can save a bunch of miles and take US 84 just west of Santa Rosa New Mexico and head north and pickup I 25 and roll that to Denver. I don't want no stinkin swap. Texted DM2 and no word back from him (no surprise) anyway. 1590 miles this week (3days). Not bad. Won't even ask about hometime until DM1 comes back on Tuesday. Might as well figure my own fuel solution or just nickel and dime it until night shift comes. Excited to get my day started. Haven't been in NewMex since I was riding with Johnboy last winter. SWEET!!
passport220, JohnBoy, wulfman75 and 1 other person Thank this.
