Thanks CY. I would have gone that way had I not been low on fuel. I had requested a fuel solution back around noon when I added 50 gallons at a Loves in Wichita Falls. Never got one. My DM2 seems to forget about me and my fuel solutions so I have learned not to rely on him. But now I am in Tucumcari NM and am only allowed to get 56 gallons here. Couldn't reach him by cell or text as I had no signal at the turning point west of Amarillo. Had to stay on the big road to get fuel .Got 436 miles to go and I will start when my 10 is up. Load gets there when it gets there. Tired of chasing parking at night. Tired of chasing fuel solutions by day.

I know I have a bad reputation for being cranky
but if you dont have a fuel solution wouldnt it make more sense
to fuel enough in Amarillo (right on the 287 route) to get to Denver
rather then go 100 miles longer hoping to get a fuel solution

here we are expected to figure shortest routing and best fuel solutions
    and use common sense
once a driver called the boss in the middle of the night about a flat
boss said i suppose you ought to get it fixed :biggrin_2551:

Anybody been to the Supervalue in Urbana, IL? Wondering if they have over night parking.

Don't deliver this load till Monday, so it looks like I'll squeeze a needed reset in. That means I won't have to do one in Omaha, where I would lose out on my per diem for tax purposes.

Sure, I guess the solution is to fuel on my own instead of wait for one from DM2. Works for me.

    dennisroc and jungHo Thank this.
