computer confusion

    Hi, guys, I have a 2006 Century I just bought (Nov 1st), the odometer read 827K, the ECM reads 468K miles, also, the onboard computer tells me I'm mostly avg between 5 and 5.76 mpg's, while my own pump and odometer calculations tell me I'm at 6.4????? I wonder how common these discrepancies are and why?

    Ecm was probably changed and ecm fuel milage is just a educated guess using boost load factor and a few other parameters some are close most are off though
