A 777 near Santa Maria, CA, 17' wide & 17' tall on the trailer but not as heavy as it looks.

That is a big one for sure. Do you transport it without the dump bed to keep the size or weight under a certain limit? How much does the bed itself weigh?

No bed on this one, used to haul double bottom dumps from quarry.

I moved more than twenty five 777 Dump Bodies, they range anywhere from 45,000-54,000lbs depending on the liner package installed...
The boxes must be removed prior to transport, due to the divisible load rule of "if it takes less than 8hrs to remove, and doesn't destroy the value of the object" rule. The number of hours varies depending on jurisdiction, but is generally around this. Most crews can remove the dump body in less than 2hrs, there are only 4 pins attaching them. 2 on the box where it tilts, and 2 on the lift cylinders so it's not a big job.
Removing the dump body of a 777 saves around 3' of height and width...they're already around 15-16' high in that config in the first place. Height becomes an exponentially bigger issue from the 15+ range, the two hours or less to remove the box may save several days of route surveys and permit requests, so it's kind of a no-brainier to pull it.
