You look like a great person. It shows what you can be up against. Just when you think our country's attitude is changing, stuff like this shows up. I too, have lived with my share of prejudice, and I give you a lot of credit. I'm a father, and I love my kids dearly. If one of them wanted to do something, whatever it is, they'd have my support. Best of luck to you, and like I said, "Keep on Truckin'.
I don't know where you got your parenting skills, Semi, they don't come with owners manuals, but your kids (and grandkids if any) are really fortunate. WTG man.

Some of us have hard enough lives to realize that the best way to raise 'em is to be a parent, friend, and pillar. I'm not sure where I fit into that category, but I know my fiancee and I are both on the same page as Semi."semi" retired Thanks this.

Too much religion in this thread. Leave it in religion. Some people are born different. It's a fact of life. LGBTQ people did not choose to be that way. They just are and it's hard for them to come to terms with who they are. I applaud them for being able to do it. It takes a truckload of courage to do that. Especially in this industry.
TruckDuo, The Challenger, Skydivedavec and 1 other person Thank this. -
Thanks Skydivedavec, I got that from my mom, may she rest in peace. She loved EVERYONE. She was a delivery room nurse for like 40 years, and she'd see these single teenage mothers having their 3rd and 4th child, she never once said anything, and always comforted them. They'd even call her at home saying, "Edith, can you come in and talk with so & so, they are asking for you", and off she'd go. I really miss my mom.

Didn't mean to hijack the thread here, but I couldn't let the opportunity pass to let you know that supporting your kids this way is top shelf and exemplary."semi" retired Thanks this. -
I don't think anyone would've protested... lol
Skydivedavec Thanks this. -
Thanks, but this isn't about me, Britlyn and people like her, needs our support, and like my mom used to say, she's someone's loved one.Last edited: Dec 14, 2014
Vilhiem and Skydivedavec Thank this. -
I applaud any trans-gendered person that can come open on a public forum like this. I'd look at smaller companies that treat you better. If your current company gets you off the account, then its their loss. At least that's the way how I see it.
KHSkydivedavec, "semi" retired and Vilhiem Thank this. -
