Good luck go you both. I enjoy driving for Freymiller. I have NO complaints with them. Very easy to work with , and they keep me rolling. Just the way I like. A lot of Cali to Carolinas loads.

Good to hear that, I'm happy I chose freymiller instead if going with a mega company.

Hey bud,
Thanks for the posts, but how is the pay/miles at freymiller? I've been in the oil field since I got out of high school, and have spent the last year and a half driving in the patch as an equipment operator. However, the whole oil price plunging thing has me considering taking a shot at OTR. I have been looking at freymiller since I live along i-40 in Oklahoma, but can't seem to get an answer from a current employee. -
Ok so it's been awhile since my last update. I love it here at Freymiller. As a student I'm still with a trainer for a couple more weeks but it's not bad. We get along great and he's more than happy to let me do the driving. Until he was comfortable we ran as a solo. I'm averaging 3,500 miles a week. I decided to stay out for Xmas and New Years so I could get the extra time in but Freymiller offered to let me go home. They are very direct with their concern for driver happiness (to a point. You can't make EVERYONE happy lol) My trainer had some medical stuff to take care of so we got a load to send us to his home in Phoenix. I told Freymiller I wanted to go home while he was home (He was going to be home from Jan 5th-Jan 10th) They didn't ask any questions. They booked me a rental car to be picked up at the airport in Phoenix and they paid for it. I only had to pay for gas and, since they had a hybrid available, my 1,700+ mile round trip only cost me $80 in gas. I left Monday morning and drove the ten hours home and got there in early evening. I was able to stay home until Saturday afternoon (we had a pre-plan dispatch for Sunday morning). Everything is 100% no touch loads. I can't tell you how happy I am so far. My trainer just bumped us to team loads as he has been sleeping while I drive without issue. Once I'm able to master docking I'll test out and get my own truck. (Hopefully within 2-3 weeks) I hope this has been helpful. Once I get into my own truck I'll update again and let you know how the pay/miles/etc. are. Keep your Shiny Side Up!

This company is right around the corner from and contemplated applying but their hometime wasn't for me. How are their freight lanes? Do you think hometime will be a issue being from Cali?
