I never said she's a business expert, all I said was even she understands that cheap freight is better than no freight. how you got "she's a business expert" out of that confuses me. makes me question half the stuff you all have accused me of saying/doing.

If you're not going to pay drivers for things such as detention, you won't be able to keep them. You'll have to spend even more noney to recruit and hire new drivers to keep up with the turnover. Good companies want to keep good drivers, so good companies give drivers ample incentives to stay. IRT doesn't do this. They don't seem to care that much that they can't keep drivers around for very long. Whenever the economy finally improves and things and finally good again, that kind of attitude is going to come back to bite them.

if IRT is such a terrible company then why are there tenured drivers with 5+ years at this company? 10+?

although they did hire me, so that does say a lot about them

Ok thats your opinion. Here's mine. After 2 hours of sitting just write down each hour after that for a year. Then multiply it by $10.00

let me know how much money you lose out on.

There are also drivers that have been with swift for decades. They are the worst company in the industry. Your point is invalid.

    Should be at least $15.00

Speaking for myself only, I wouldn't even agree to be a Walmart greeter for $10.00 an hour.

Lol hey I'll take what I can get after running a trip it's kind of like a little bonus so I'm happy with it. I know Marten does $20.00 after the first hour.

i guess I kinda screw myself, I'm always going an hour and a half early or delivering early but it is what it is.
