Looks like my company did well this year. Got a Christmas bonus. $200, looks like presents are paid for.

 

So sorry for your exceedingly long wait. While it may be typical with trucking at large, it doesn't make it any easier when you're the one sitting forever. HTQ is right, it seems to happen too often! It really makes you wonder how in the world the DMs keep variius drivers sitting sooooo long when there is so much freight that needs to be moved. Good luck yo you. Hope things improve quickky at least for a little while.

HTQ, I am at the hospital during the daytime and will go home in the evening (s). Just me. Two if my 4 brothers work and are inable to be here. The other 2 have their reasons,,,,1 lives 2 hours away. I figure I only have 1 mom and it's unknown how long she'll be alive, so I best seize the day. I'll get by. Thanks for your concern.

 

Still at my second drop since before 730 am (appointment at 1130). Got to Costco at 0510, in a dock by 0530 gone by 0645. At 1115 I went to check back in and Luke tells me they are behind that it would be at least another hour and that was 45 minutes ago. Too much stuff to clear off the dock. Bumping my 70 anyway so can't go too far. Got a preplan for Campbell soup in Paris TX going to Plainview TX. Less than 400 miles but thats ok. Its miles and sometimes it good to have a short run, but I think its gonna set me up for IBP Amarillo. Another long wait may be in my future. Ugh.

 

Hate it when my trk has to go to the dealer. Leaves me with no place to take a nap, and depending on how long it takes, no nap before heading out.

Have been experiencing a loss of power. Wonder what's wrong?

 

Maybe vacuum leak , water in fuel , clogged fuel filter , maybe turbo acting up ?

If it had a propeller on it I could fix it , lol

 

Anyone here driving an aqua blue T700? Saw one rolling through Baraboo, Wisconsin this afternoon.

 

Saw something interesting today and kinda wondering who put it up. 4 signs along an on ramp saying

"Get in line, quit cutting us off, your job is not more important than mine, if its an emergency call 911".

Wonder if it was a trucker or just some mad 4 wheeler tired of the way people are around that interchange.
