I'm currently trying to get into a trucking school, I've had my permit since February 2014, and have gotten my drivers license just recently. But it seems the state law for Texas And Missouri atleast, say that you must have held your dirvers license for a solid year before attaining a CDL.
Would the time I've held my permit count towards the issue date of my drivers license on records ?
Or is there some state that isn't soo anal about this ?
States exempt from needing a drivers license for 1 year to get a CDL

I wouldn't think so, a permit isn't a license, but you be better off check with your state for a more definite answer

Straight to personal attacks. Cool forum. I have had a lot of experience driving residential vehicles, just various life conditions have kept me from taking my drivers test to get my full fledged license.

Lol, I'm not attacking you. Just being sarcastic and enjoying some down time. A little more info about yourself would help. Introduce yourself, give us some background. I think there is a section for newcomers to introduce themselves. Give a little background.
