The Qualcomm will connect to the wifi internet at OCs, but you can't use the 3G service it uses to do ET phone home stuff to browse the internet.jn1427 Thanks this.

skyviper73, dieselfuelonly, mickimause and 2 others Thank this. -
I thought I was but no another 239534694 forms to read and sign.
For sure tomorrow morning is the "driving test".. which is awesome timing because the roads are supposed to be icy in the morning.tynodine and mickimause Thank this. -
But I was in a borrowed truck and first time with the predictive. Maybe I am not aware of how it works. What bugged me is that it didn't maintain speed on an uphill grade while empty. My current beater will keep 60-61 no problem. The borrowed truck would slow to 55-57 by the top of the hill. Is that what it is supposed to do?

As far as I can tell with the predictive cruise, it seems to think the slightest downward crest in the road is a downhill slope. So it tries to slow down just a bit to compensate for the amount of speed you will gain from gravity, even though we all like to use that extra speed to our advantage. It also does the exact opposite and will speed up if it thinks you will be going uphill, even if you are on a flat road.

Kind of annoying as a company driver. I'm either getting docked for "overspeed" even though its set to 60, or I'm already going much slower than traffic and then it slows down even more.
I like the on-guard, it may come in handy someday, and I like having that extra piece of mind knowing it can see better in the fog than I can lol. Plus I get to see how fast other people are driving. -
I delivered to the Amazon in Shepherdsville, KY last week. Amazon has two separate warehouses across the street from each other with different addresses/locations. Box planner wanted me to pick up an empty at the one warehouse, drive 1500 feet to the other warehouse and drop it there. Meanwhile, there were 3 or 4 yard jockeys driving all over the place moving trailers around. Yeah, ok.

lol no thanks I have higher standards than that.
Oh I'm all bright and happy.. BUT I share both sides of my experience. -
Predictive cruise doesn't affect over speed.as long u don't exceed 70 your golden. PC scans the terrain to maintain set speed. If start on hill it'll boost speed up to 6mph extra. Going down hill it'll engage engine brakes at 6mph past cruise set.
