Pssingthru nailed it. Seems like you weren't ready to run your own bored, so you had them do it for you. Easy way to fail is to have them run your truck for you.

 

You two have it absolutely right, I am averaging 2.19 per loaded mile to the truck this year, but, if I let them they would have had me pulling money losing loads. If you can't self dispatch this isn't the place for you.

 

Nobody ran my board. I found my own loads, own brokers, etc. Used ITS, and a list of brokers from a 48 states. At .26% of every lpad, I wasn't making enough to pay the bills.

 

But you're right, definitely wasn't the place for me. Started with a 77,000$ loan, after three breakdowns, I owed almost 90K on a truck with 500,000 miles. No thanks.
