If you can't find the Dollar Tree in Marietta, you need new contacts. You can't miss it. I've never been in there, I always get the loads to Ardmore or Duncan.

Yesterday I noticed my truck's batteries weren't getting a full charge and told my DM I would likely be seeing shop time this week. Well shop time is now. Alarm was set to get up at 0500 this morning. Before I went to sleep last night I noticed my batteries had dipped enough that the truck cut the power to all the power sockets, interior lights and fridge, but I wasn't going to spend my whole break babysitting it. Went to sleep and then at 0300 woke up to all sorts of screeching and beeping. My dash was alerting to low voltage and my inverter was screaming like it flatlined. I said f### it and pushed the power button and went back to sleep. Got up this morning and messaged road assist who sent the TA Road Squad over from the other side of the interstate lol. Guy came out and gave me a jump. $45 later I was on my way. Told my DM I'm not paying to daily jump starts and don't have the cash to get my own cables so I'm going to KW today. Chose Nashville, TN cause it was 500 miles up the road and the guys here are really nice. Once Kenworth proves the batteries are bad, it will be covered under warranty.

All kidding aside Cranky has an amazing memory. I am always asking him stuff that he remembers and always a lot of detail.

On my way to Duncan, Ok. for Saturday delivery. Next preplan doesnt make sense. I am suppose to pick up student on the 24th and it has 4 stops starting on the 23rd I think in Oh. for some airforce base. Whatever will not worry about it. Hopefully it all works out

Not sure about that, Cranky. So far the verdict is its just one bad battery. I intend to get to a TK or have Shawn look at the system because I just know something isn't right. I actually on alternator number four on an APU that isn't even two years old yet...

Might get those last four new tires I've been chasing, too. The front axle is cupping badly when I'm braking and going full speed. But my front axle has nearly 220k miles on the tires and the rear axle is brand new. It's now mismatched enough that it's affecting performance. Hopefully KW recommending new tires will get TransAm to finally let me do it!

Kris, maybe the APU alternator going bad. Thats what was wrong with mine. No issues since the great breakdown month of October.

Waiting for my 10 to be up. Ran out of my 14 here at IBP Tyson in Amarillo TX. Did a split sleeper to get my Campbell Soup load and dropped it at the Walmart DC in Plainview TX then boogied up here to Amarillo TX. As I was going to hook up to my trailer, a fellow TransAm driver, named Louis, a 40 year old newbie was blocking access to mine. So I got out to help him. He was trying to get his tandem pins to stay in. Tried beating on them, then told him to try to move the truck and that worked, got the tandems to slide up into the meat hole. Then we sat in his truck and I talked about scaling his load and to check the axleweights to make sure he is legal. He is a smart guy, he will figure it out. Only his third trip and thank God he went company!! Told him he did the right thing. Tried calling to check up on him but now I need to talk to him about getting a headset. We exchanged cell numbers. The Deuce is gonna take him under his wing and mentor him. Imagine that. Me? Now hes in trouble.
