that's over a 200 mile dead head...
hey wait a tick I'm an IC now soooo why should I let them get away with sending me to deadzone to get an MT 200 plus miles away from any loads when I'm already sitting in Green Bay?
What happens if I tell them no and start some havoc on my first dispatch lol.. dunno if I wanna do that but I mean c'mon man.

My first MT run was to Madison, picked my load up across the road, lol.
-
omg.. what happened when you did that?
I mean what can they say? You didn't sign up to have a dispatcher tell you where to go lol. -
Your lucky some guys went even further. Welcome to the Orange Grove home of the elusive empty trailers.
-
this is pretty much a one time deal on the first trailer grab, I'm not gonna be a hardbutt about it. I am getting $1.30 for it to bobtail there.
Things can be worse.. the guys last week were sent to the Northwest corner of Minnesota next to North Dakota in the middle of nowhere to get their MTs lol. -
If you think schneider is bad with mt's you should try knight..lol...they literally don't have enough trailers to go around...knight doesn't do the drop and hook it's drop and chase mts around...that's on a regular basis too.

Hello! Can anyone tell me what temp protect means on a load?
-
Product has to be protected from low temperatures, usually. See it a lot with beer loads.1girl1truck Thanks this.
-
How do you protect the product? Does SNI have any specific procedures?
-
Yeah usually it involves going through an OC if it's along the route while you stop for your 10, if not call ops and they can work something else out.1girl1truck Thanks this.
