Driver wages have been stagnant since the 70s and haven't kept pace with the cost of living, and that definitely needs to change. At least now these companies are beginning to wake up and making modest increases. The problem is too many drivers tear each other down when the topic of wage increases is brought up. Some seem to think that those who aren't making a living should somehow be grateful for what little they ARE getting. It's laughable. If I want to be a doormat I'll go work in fast food.

 

If you guys are getting the kind of miles that I've read about on this thread, getting rid of that restart provision means an increase in commerce and everyone from the drivers to the companies to the customers to the companies that make the products will benefit monetarily.

 

Anybody know what bank the company's paychecks are drawn off of?
