I know one thing, do NOT be smoking when you go into a California scale. Was running team with a guy who was smoking going over the scale on Cajon and he got a $480 ticket for " smoking in the public workplace". I kid you not! Company had another driver I know of get ticketed for the same thing at the Santa Nella scale. Talk about ridiculous!!

 

I don't understand why nonsmokers don't just quit whining about everything! You have the truck stops, restaurants, bars, casinos, planes, malls and everywhere else under a roof I can think of. Will you at least leave us smokers the outside?

 

No, they won't. Just like any other sniveling bunch of over-regulating liberals, they won't be happy until EVERYBODY conforms to their precious standards of behavior, even if they have to beat you over the head with Washington D C to do it.

By the way, I refuse to use vaporizors because I have yet to find one that tastes as good as that first Marlboro in the morning. DEAL WITH IT!

I go thru Truckee all the time while smoking, not once have I ever been red lighted for smoking.

 

Congrats. I don't smoke anymore anyway (nicotine gum) but I woke up to my co-driver getting a smoking ticket at Cajon and neither of us could believe it. He actually laughed thinking the cop was joking which didn't help either. He hired TVC to try getting out of it but he didn't and ended up out $480 plus whatever he paid for his TVC membership. Ludicrous!

 

How about if nobody whined about stupid stuff that nobody can do anything about or will do anything about.

 

Ill be there Monday, see if I can't grab a picture then. It is however a nice stop though. Idle air crap is expensive though...
