Yea, I'm sure it is! I'm OK with bigger codes for my injectors and restricting my waste gate. Running heavy and 5.2 on a good day, I should leave it. I don't get passed to often as it is. A gearhead said to me a long time ago......Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?
2.93 gears

And rehab is for quitters!Soon2BeOwnerOperator Thanks this. -
Get you some wires and you will really be happy. Fuel temp wire does wonders for the price. Dont restrict the wastegate its not doing anything. You might get quicker spool but it will blow the turbo up, eventually.
-
A heavier wire into a dumbie sensor?
-
I have had it done now for 8 years and all is still good. -
You got lucky, i done it on my old Pete.
Fuel temperature wire, plugs into the temp sensor on fuel filter base, friend makes these, dyno proven for 50-60hp. The boost wire gives ya some power but mostly its good for throttle response. -
I will keep you in mind, thanks for the tips!
-
If you have a buddy with CAT software have him put in injector trim codes 5232 those are good for 60hp, along with the wires and the trim codes a 550 CAT will put 560-570 to the tires, thats roughly 630-650 crank hp.
-
I'd be happy with that.
Oh by the way. O.T. here but does that C model you have, have all the acesorie brackets, bellhousing, turbo etc? I was talking with my pops about it and I didn't know -
I think they are the codes I have in there. I have a factory 550 so I have the trim codes. I guess.
