I get their logic. I really do and I won't argue with them over it. However this *is* just the mudflaps. Sure it's possible to screw that up but you might have to try to screw it up before that happened.
Well, here's your chance! (Dot and missing mudflaps)

Caliber is proper English. Look it up, it has meaning for both the width or bore of a cylindrical object but also refers to the character or skill of a person.
On that note, I should like to point out that the word you're looking for is "construed." -
A strudel sounds good right now.

Another thread hijacked, and this time by the OP himself!
I always carried a reasonable priced set of tools with me, even running a local day cab. I HATE sitting beside the road waiting for breakdown to show up!
When I worked for an aggregate hauler, I went into the shop and told the jerkoff working there that I needed a tire repair. His response was, "You'll have to do it yourself, I'm too busy." I said OK where do you keep your jacks and tools. He looked at me like he couldn't believe it, and said "you're kidding, right." I told him I was there to get a job done, and didn't mind doing what needed to be done.
He went ahead and pulled the tire, (ended up replacing it,) and never gave me any problem after that. -
I do carry some tools, not enough to rebuild a transmission or anything, but enough to do some basic repairs that I know I can do. Anything else I either have no business doing or I wasn't prepared.
As for hijacking my own thread...well I like my English proper, my tea and coffee hot, and my crumpets fresh. Not to mention I can't stand stupidity for the sake of stupidity... Some of the stuff SNI wants us to wait on their team for is just... And there I go again. Any questions?Chinatown and TeePee Creeper Thank this. -
Your mud flaps were definitely stolen. Because if they weren't, you just had a chargeable accident.
Chinatown and bobtrucks2204 Thank this. -
A quick note the key is in red "BE A SMARTAS5" and to you kind sir I fall on my own sword. LOL In closing this eve allow me to pay homage to my wise Miami Indian grandfather who often said "Son, there are two things in this world you never let your best friend borrow, your car and your girlfriend, for sure as your back is turned he will try his best to throw a rod in both of them.

I always carried a few tools; battery powered drill, mudflap bolts, etc.
Was backing into a parking spot at a truckstop in Georgia and saw two mudflaps on the concrete curb in my parking spot. After I parked, walked back to check and they were two Schneider mudflaps in excellent condition.
As a joke, I drilled new holes and swapped them out with the mudflaps on the reefer I was pulling and put my companies mudflaps in the sidebox.
At the terminal the mechanic stood there scratching his crotch and looking at the Schneider mudflaps and said, "Uhh, wonder how the Schneider mudflaps got on our trailer?" I said, "Beats the heck out of me."
He swapped them back out with our company mudflaps and threw them in the dumpster. I took them out of the dumpster and did the same again on another trailer. Same deal again with the mechanic. About the 3rd time it happened, he gave up and the Schneider mudflaps were still on there when they sold the trailer to another reefer company.wulfman75 Thanks this.
