Apu issues no air low voltage message

    As it says above air died and have low voltage message on controller. Belts are ok, can't find a bad fuse any body have any ideas? It is a carrier comfort pro

    Nope alternator putting out lots of voltage. Doesn't hvac stuff work off the generator?

    That is a capacitor excited generator. The capacitor may be bad. When was the last time it was serviced? If it's running slow or sluggish it won't spin the generator fast enough to create the proper voltage.

    Took it to carrier that said bad generator. $1876 for a new one. Not today. Will take it off when I'm home I have a friend who rewinds alternators and generators I think it needs to go to him.

    did u get a new genertor?? What was wrong??? They said I need a new one too

    do like the guy two years ago said, check the capacitor, its about 50 bucks, you can get it at any heat or a/c supply
