Never tell the other driver of the other vehicle you have a dashcam.

    Some people are psychos.

I hope the name of this driver surfaces, so we can make sure he never drives a truck again.

Does anyone know how to SEARCH anymore or do you need it handed to you on a silver platter?

Unbelievable, both the video and the posters defending the pos.

Have you seen the keywords to some of these posts? If someone doesn't remember to fill in the tags, ypu get keywords like "an, the, truck, line" for posts about restarts. The keywords for this thread are "dash, driver, his, rage, truck." This makes the search function junk.

I don't think anybody is defending the retaliatory brake check. All some of us are saying is that the slow truck's driver isn't as clean as the wind driven snow either. Slow truck drivers often fail to realize the closing speed of traffic that is doing the speed limit, so while they THINK they are clear to move over into the left lane, they really aren't. Yes, the brake check was a ######## move. So was changing lanes @ 15 mph below the speed limit with traffic approaching to pass in that lane. That truck didn't come out of nowhere. I would love to see a dash cam from the other truck to demonstrate how blatantly dangerous lane changes such as the one made by the slow red truck can be. There were no innocent parties in that video.

Look in the mirror....it isn't great but it's quite a ways after passing the disabled truck that you see the truck in his mirror. I can't see how the dude that got wrecked cut that guy off. Maybe the Pete had to slow down but big deal. That was uncalled for. If he'd have came back, I'd been going to jail. That was utter BS.....

I watched the side rear view mirrors the entire video, I have no idea where that offending truck even came from, it never entered the view of the mirrors until the very end, it is not even in view during the lane changes. It would seem it was hauling serious a s s in order to catch up and wreck the other trucker.

Those mirrors on cascadias don't stick out far enough to see down the side of the truck to the end of the trailer from the drivers point of view let alone a camera near the middle of the cab. The white truck is probably half a truck length before it's visible.

Impossible to know how close it was.

Maybe the white truck wasn't in the the left lane but in the right lane. You know those guys that wait untill the last second to pop out and pass. "drafting up to pass" as some call it. Maybe they both zigged at the same time who knows.

There was a long stretch before the curve and to not know what was behind you and how fast it was comming in either lane is just not paying attention.

Even if the driver of the white Pete was going 15 mph faster than the truck that moved over, if he had any #### sense and was paying attention he would've backed off in order to allow enough space for the lane change to occur safely. Just because you are coming up on a slower moving vehicle is no good reason to not adjust your speed to allow a safer situation for all vehicles involved. Not every situation allows such, but that was clearly a wide open road.
