I don't see how talking about any of this matters. He's building a off hwy pulling truck. Epa rules for emissions have no jurisdiction on it period. It's not a OTR truck. It's for competition purposes.
Talk all u want about horse power
Whats next. Are they gonna ban everybody on the pulling boards too. Just Rediculus.magoo68 Thanks this. -
This will be lowboyed up to Quebec and not even have license plates on it. I'm new to this forum, website. Is there a section for performance, racing or pulling?
-
Hey you know if you went back to a mechnical engine you could talk about turning it up as much as you want on here. LOL

Diesel Controls Inc out of ohio does some good injector work, I'm not sure any one is going to put HP numbers on anything once your in that ball park.

I totally agree that this is a different deal than "how to remove EGR" etc.
Problem is, where would they draw the line?
If I posted up a thread about pulling the DPF off my Star, and bumping it to 700hp, would anyone really believe it is for "off highway use only"?
Doubt it, as it would be total BS after all.....
It's a shame that our wonderful (sarcasm) government has made forums etc behave this way, to cover their backsides and not get a whopping fine and/or shut down. It isn't the site owners fault, it's the idiotic and senseless EPA sticking their noses into matters of which they know nothing about. And arguing with the EPA etc is an exercise in futility, so that's out of the window too.
Just my .02
Martinbillandlori and passingthru69 Thank this. -
Go to www.dieselgarage.com and try there.

That link says the website is for sale.
OP, don't forget to start upgrading the driver train BEFORE you go putting the power to it, all the power in the world isn't any good if the rears or transmission barf their guts all over the ground.
