I would imagine, since all lessors trailers are more or less brand new, picking up a crappy trailer that hasn't been kept up would be a rare occurrence, if it happened at all. Current lessors drivers, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about that.

Occasionally you'll get a light out or a mudflap missing. It's rare, but it does happen. As for flats, we have that inflation system on the trailers. We have a card in every truck for who to call for repairs. Unless it's something major, most times you don't even need to call the shop. Maintanence here is very very good. There's no sitting for days waiting for service. And anytime anything is wrong, it will be fixed immediately. That's the way the boss wants it so that's the way it is. Even for APU issues. They do not play games with equipment. Our CSA score for violations for that is very low.Voyager1968 Thanks this.

Is there any truth at all to what I've read elsewhere on this forum about how lessors requires you to run a certain number of miles a month? If so, what are the parameters for that?
-
to keep insurance, it's 9250.
But they also get that sometimes that may not happen (hometime, breakdown, etc) -
So they know hometime and unexpected downtime would cause a driver to fall below the mileage requirement, but you will still lose your insurance anyway? Is that what you're saying?
-
No! Lol. They get that those things happen. So you won't.
-
Being a screw off. Attaining 9250 is very easy here.Voyager1968 Thanks this.
-
And besides. You have to fail to make 9250 two months in a row. That's #### near impossible.
Safari Joe Thanks this. -
Ask anyone here with the company I work for, well for a couple more weeks, maintenance matters. They are lacking in that department. Really looking forward to the move to Lessors.
