Thought I was going to be home until Monday. I need to quit thinking. I will be leaving Saturday evening to dead head up to Madison Ga for a drop and hook going back to Richmond for Sunday night/Monday morning. That's cool, it's not like I am lacking in the time off department.

Merry Christmas everyone. At the airport waiting to board to go see family in Texas. Hope everyone has a good holiday!
JohnBoy Thanks this. -
Merry Christmas to my Abilene family! Yesterday at Halls in NJ another Abilene driver ground guided me into a tight dock. In rain so hard I could barely see him standing out there. When I.cleared the.dock I did the same for the next Abilene driver. The stupified looks on the other drivers faces was priceless! This is a great place to be!
Lonesome, crazeydude, JohnBoy and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yes it is always great to see the response from other carriers when they see us all working together. Although I didnt come to Abilene until March, 2014 has been the best year I've had in a long time, not only Financially but also in my own personal satisfaction at work.
Merry Christmas to all at Abilene. In a week starts another year. -
Can't wait to leave tomorrow afternoon, maybe I can get a little rest. Did anyone see me acting like a total fool on national TV yesterday? My wife and I were at the Miami Heat game right behind the visitors bench.
Just looked at my final numbers for this past year. A little over $62K and a great number of days off. That number includes a little training and a team run. For OTR the number is good, but there's a lot more than just miles for me, it's the home time, people I work with and for, and the equipment I drive. Granted I was fortunate not to have any breakdowns this year and only had one blowout and 3 other tires replaced on a trailer I picked up. I believe that once you figure out the system, the lanes to run in and when to be in Richmond, anyone else can do the same. If I take out the training in my numbers, my earnings are $58K. I'm happy, fat and very grateful. Let's all hope 2015 is just as safe and profitable for us all.Lonesome, Weeble Kneeble and The Challenger Thank this. -
i would have to bypass the 4K and stay solo
my crankiness quota would be too high with trainees
