All the bad driving you see is just that...bad driving...don't become a bad driver.

Pay attention to your trailer swing until you get the feel. Takes a little while to become confident in your driving. Don't get in a hurry, slow down, take time to plan your routes, get to the truck stops early if needed and just think before your react.

If you think something does not look right, or something is about to happen, odds are your instincts are warning you.

Take your time while backing and don't worry too much about other drivers commenting on how slow you maybe, or how many pull ups or corrections you have done, or getting out and looking. Those same drivers have been in your shoes before, but most are very corteous and if you can let them go by wave them on.

I'm a student, my instructor told me today (as i was driving down the interstate) that 80some percent of accidents happen during lane changes.

Slow down or stop. Put the 4 ways on. Use common sense. Ask for help if you need it. Use your mirrors.

You owe me $100 for super trucker advice...!
