Cranky I'm glad you love me hanging around but not sure what you mean by your reply ?????

I am sorry I have multiple properties ( in the Philippines only ) not various countries as you mention here.
I have a airplane hangar in Indiana with a very nice restored Piper Cub and also store my Motorcycle and a car there and my family all live there. In America I would be considered homeless !

I have worked very hard my whole life and am proud of the things I have accomplished and choices I have made.

I have lived in South Korea for the last 10 years in an apartment ( rent not own ) because I work here.

Lucky for me my wife and I are on vacation here in the Philippines visiting with her family and taking care of a few things.

I am sorry if it sounded like I was bragging I am just sharing a part of my life , I am very far from being the bragging type and very sorry if I have offended you or anyone else on here.

As far as dreaming of truck driving ????????

I have worked for several years doing aviation maintenance. When I first started I loved it and still do at times but have thought about moving back to America and driving a truck.

It has never been a dream of mine but my wife and I really like traveling and thought about moving back to the USA and thought of what type of work might work for us and something that we could work together and the idea of truck driving came up.

We were both interested in trucking and that is why I joined this site. I have been on here for over a year and have got a ton of information and I really can't thank you all enough for your help.

Cranky I really don't know how to reply other than what I posted here.

I am sorry you feel the way you do but I may never drive a truck or maybe soon depending on what I choose.

But I will never stop dreaming :)

I will probably not post on here anymore because I am not a driver but I am still a dreamer !

I will still read others post and replies as I really enjoy this forum.

Cranky I hope this will make your life less Cranky !!! :biggrin_25514:

    Dennis please keep posting
i did not mean that in a mean way
i am glad you have things
most of us wouldnt drive if it wasn't a necessity
there are worse things then being bored at a great paying job

I miss my former life and wish I had been smarter at holding on to some of it
I am so acclimated to driving OTR now
it is almost addictive I have 6 days off and cant relax easier to be heading off in the truck
of course the year I didnt work I got so busy not working
I didn't know how I had time to work

I am probably wrong but I think most of us would wish for your life

No cranky you are not wrong. Kinda wishort I had his life to at times. And Dennis this is the one way for those of us looking to drive to figure out if it is something we would like to do. For your and myself it is in the timing of thinags and questions in if we should leave our current jobs and start over completely. It also gives us the info we and support we would need to succeed if we do.

On a better note congrats George on getting home early and everyone have a safe and wonderful new year.

    gntorres61 Thanks this.
