No it isnt better but it got me out of the northeast for a bit. I have a entire week to find a quality load out of there

I'm not hauling out of florida i already decided that i have until thursday or friday to find a load out i'm not worried about coming out cheap.

Like I said it was a what was i thinking moment

I'm at home right now (baltimore) that load isn't until wednesday. I have time to ponder wth i was thinking about. I'll have to find a nice 2.00 load to balance it out.

They'll keep loading up the board with that cheap stuff as long as you keep hauling it.
If you don't haul it they have to put on a company truck.
Took a great paying one to Palmyra awhile back. Called in and had them take off the empty p/u cause I was bobtailing back across. 'Really why' because I'm not hauling that Cheap an heavy garbage .
"Well that's how we know you guys aren't going to"
Picked up a shorty in Ohio covered my dh and then some.
Cheap freight will always be there. BUT YOU DONT HAVE TO BE PART OF THE PROBLEM AND HAUL IT.

Also when company drivers stop working for .32 CPM then the cheap freight will go away.
The driver mill megas can afford it when they have drivers driving for nothing.

Just because company driver making .32mi doesn't mean that company is hauling cheap. .could be they want to keep more in thier pocket....as an owner op, minimize your cheap freight hauling to an extreme minimum...

Well most of the valve train is finally broken in at that mileage and things tend to loosen or tighten up. The overhead on a Paccar engine is easy to do, takes me about 2 hrs at the house. Most everything on the Paccar engine is pretty straight forward. except the air compressor and starter. I love my Paccar engine. Now well over 500K and doing just fine

Something you have to understand since I figured out the board I average most weeks around or above 1.80 per mike. Me running one cheap load isn't the end of the world. If you could see all my load selection there may be 7 or 8 loads under 1.35 out of maybe 100 or more. I'm not adding to any problem if we are sticking with load planning in pairs 1.21 means nothing if I can come out above 1.80 .

Now we all know anytime you leave an bubble in the country you will get a cheaper that is what happened here. I want to spend a couple weeks outside my normal AO and it's difficult to get out without leaving at a cheap rate that's also heavy. Trust me I've been trying to venture out for months.

You have to remember what you consider cheap. Someone might not think its cheap. Not all business model are the same. I seen loads from the northeast headed to FL paying 1.35. In a matter of minutes, the load disappears. People are always trying to get some where. That could be someone going home load.
