c15 ecm

    hello all ...i have a 2000 pete with a 3406e with a c13 or c12 ecm on it cant rember witch.. but will run like a screaming ape .....lol but this is what i need to know now i have a 06/07 pete with a c15 acert that the ecm has been looked by owner b4 me but also have 06 international with a c13 acert can i take it off and put it on the pete ? just need to no if it will work cus the pete will run 62 ..wide open and each gear the rpms are so messed up it no power that thing sucks bad...

    The pete has a bigger higher horsepower motor than the international right? Isnt the c13 for a single turbo? Not positive,but think it would require a conversion kit and have to be " reflashed". Too much hassle. I would just find a correct used one and go with that. JMO

    I think it would even start wit that ecm ,they are completely different engines. sounds like you should go to Holt cat and get it reprogrammed its only like 1 hour of labor to adjust parameters on ecms

    they both acerts twin turbo on both.. i know on my 2000 pete with a 3406e i put a c12 or c13 ecm on it cant rember witch it was but it made a wold of diff... but these being acerts want to make sure before i try it...

    Just swapping ecms your asking for big problems.

    First we are not allowed to talk about what you need to do on this forum. Second you are far off about what you need to know, and how to go about it.

    He is asking about a swap, not a a EGR delete nor a modification. And Second, Yes it could be swap long as it has the same pins, in OP's case I beleive should be 70 but would need to be flashed. But your correct Cetane+, on the second part.

    thanks dave i went ahead and swaped it out last night started and drove good the progressive shift is off speed is lol up there not sure bout power and pulling for i was bobtail but the acert ecms will swap out like older ones and just like my old swap i did this one dose the same rolls black smoke when u get in it..

    Your injector trim codes are not right now. You are asking for a grenaded motor

    The worst you will have is the motor not running right due to injector trim files and a few other parameters that are set up for the c 13 as opposed to your c 15. Its not going to destroy the motor anytime soon because the trim files are different. Just have your ecm reprogrammed and setup to your specs. Not the specs of the previous owner which probably had driver rewards and other BS no one wants.
