I'm still here, just haven't been posting in this thread, since nobody else was.

Picked this load up North of SLC.

Had a bit of time on this load but it worked out good.
Thur night APU (Generator Quit) was able to get that fixed Friday.
That took a bit so that was a short day, then they shut 80 down on me yesterday., so spent 1/2 the day and all night in Sidney NE.


Good day today.
Sidney to Walcott, sitting at the Iowa 80 now for 10.

Then the rest of the way to Warren Mi tommorow for Tue Morn delivery.
Anyone know of a good/safe place to park near there?

There is a small truckstop on Mound Rd just north of I-696. There are also 2 Walmarts. One at 12 mile and Van Dyke and one at 14 mile and Van Dyke. I have seen trucks at 14 and Van Dyke. The other one is fairly new still.

 

It's Lipari of Bunert Rd.
It says I can park on Street, is this a decent area? Or better of going to one of the Wal-Marts?

Did Denzil retire? I drove for Holland for a very short time due to problems with the knee I had surgery on. He was talking about it back in April. He was in charge of safety, I would assume that Becky took that role.

 

I could be wrong but... I think he went to the sister company of Holland, and is at Great Plains.
