Hi Wannabe, good heavens, I'm no road warrior, and don't know much about Celadon, but I know VanWyk has been around a long time. I see ads for Celadon all the time, but hardly ever for VanWyk. VanWyk is out of Iowa, not sure how much you'd get home, Celadon is big, but I think you'd be better off with VanWyk. Good luck.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

van wyk is a no brainer for you but they arnt perfect either , only reason i left was mike vogl and i didnt care much for each other but that was personal ....vw treats theyre drivers dam well , youll run top notch trucks and trailers , run good miles , all trucks are isx 480 hp with 13 speeds governed at 68 mph .
you should have no prob getting home cause tyson ships at least 3 loads a day to wakefern in keasby nj out of dakota city ne .
they dont have stupid routing or dumps for fuel stops ...they answer the phone and the qualcomm doesent go off 20 times a day .
when you are in sheldon they put you up at a very nice holiday inn and have 2 courtesy cars for the drivers to use and your paycheck is in the bank every friday morn .
the shop people are good people too and if theres a prob they fix it asap whether its at theyre shop or on the road at the dealer ...youll never drive an old pos truck either , when they hit 4 yrs or 480 k theyre gone .

    good luck to you !
