Now that you'll have to ask all the drivers about. And I would guess that it would depend on how you want to utilize it ....if you want to carry on long term conversations or mostly use it as a source of information. My husband uses it mostly as a source of information and to pass along information to other drivers, with the occasional conversation thrown in.truckertravis84 Thanks this.

This? This happened literally RIGHT in front of me today. I was dangerously close to being caught up in it. And the article says the ones who caused it were driving too fast for conditions is TRUE! They flew past the on ramp just as I was about to merge on the interstate. Then less than two miles up the road I see brake lights and trucks going off the road.HometimeQueen, truckertravis84 and bigred81 Thank this. -

Cb's are generally line of sight not much more than 10 miles good conditions with the right antenna that is tuned to the radio as all CB'S in the US are about 4 watts max power. Some truck stops have Cb shops that can assit you with getting the antenna tuned properly. Of course it would cost a little money but they may do it if you buy all the equipment through them.Last edited: Jan 6, 2015
