In the sleeper and got woken up to my co-driver having an intense conversation with jesus. Sleeper seatbelt was on. I held on, closed my eyes and said a quick prayer. Jackknifed. Noone got hurt which is a blessing. Truck is totaled. We were on track to make over 1100 this week. Will be lucky if i clear even half that now.
But tomorrow i will be able to say i stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night so I suppose it all worked out.
Ugh fml

Sounds like your co-driver's 'intense conversation with Jesus' may have helped you some! Glad to hear no injuries.
GenericUserName and Chaps Thank this. -
Thank God no one got hurt. Sorry this happened to you both.
GenericUserName Thanks this. -
#### happens, builds character. glad everyone made it.

It could have been the cause of the jack knife too!!!. Anyone having an intense "conversation" with an imaginary being isn't likely to have been paying too much attention to their driving.DrtyDiesel Thanks this.

Story I heard? Guy in sleeper woke up to find a guard rail 6" from his chest. Tractor impaled!

Yeah pass on the WHOLE teaming thing.dog-c Thanks this. -
For some reason people think teaming makes the big bucks. Not worth it for a LOT of reasons.
GenericUserName Thanks this. -
I could never team I find it difficult to get along with others. Heck, I have trouble get along with myself most of the time.
crzyjarmans, GenericUserName, 91B20H8 and 16 others Thank this. -
I don't like riding with my wife, Mom, brother, sister, best friend, anyone, in a passenger car or truck. Why the heck would I get in an 80k lb vehicle and sleep with someone else driving?
OPUS 7 Thanks this. -
I would never team with anyone. My wife has a CDL and can drive, but I just can't sleep in a moving truck. Never have been able too.
