I don't feel the need to prove myself to you or anyone else for that matter. Iowa, like anywhere else, is home to someone and I respect that. And, as a matter of fact, I AM high maintenance since I demand at least as much from the company I sign on with as I do from myself. I won't bore you with how many miles I've run or how many months in a row I've stayed out or how many times I've thrown chains; that's inconsequential. The point of this forum, in part,is to warn other drivers about outfits like Florilli. Attacking me personally will not change what I had to endure for the sake of trying to earn a living, and it isn't worthy of a response or any consideration anyway. I know I'm a professional, and wasting my time and energy on piss-poor companies like Florilli need not go to waste if somebody reads about my experience and chooses to work elsewhere. By the way, I got an acknowledgement from the U.S. Highway Safety Administration that my letter was followed up on. There is really no way to know what sort of monetary penalties Florilli incurred, but I can tell you that from my personal experience alone it could have been substantial. Other than that I have no feelings about that situation one way or the other.
