Add fuel to diesel , is this a myth ? To prevent gelling

If you pour some whiskey in the tank you can get another 50 rpm out of her.

 

1 can of automatic transmission fluid does a good job of cleaning the injectors, it does not increase power. Plus on some of the newer cars a bit of automatic transmission fluid put in the gas tank will extend the life of your fuel pump that is the gas tank and also clean the injectors.


Today both diesel and gas is much dryer than yesterday and is very hard on your system and bit of automatic transmission fluid will extend the life of your fuel system whether its a car or a 18 wheeler.

 

I gave a friend that drove for another outfit some RPM shims for his Cummings engine. He had told me he owned the truck and was leased.

For about a month I did not see him between here and the west coast and I asked another hand from that company about him and I find out he put those RPM shims in, pulled out of the Texaco truck stop at Colton, CA and blew up his boss mans engine about 5 miles down I-10 and his boss man fired him. He said the rods where hanging out of the oil pan!

If I had known it was not his truck I would not have given those RPM shims to him. Some just do not know how to drive a turned up engine.

That's when I found out a lot of company truck drivers claims they own their very own truck, yet do not.

 

I figured thats what he ment, but we used to add kerosene too.

my n14 has a pyro ....the old 300 ntc didnt , after the spring stretching job i had shims added and a bigger button put in by a trained mechanic who told me to just watch the water temp and other than a leaky injecter cup never had any problems with it .

when i was a kid and working in the shop in fargo part of my job was getting some engines running in really cold weather ...some methods did involve fire lol.
