So I'm fresh out of the navy and Driving school and I got a job with Coca Cola As a mini bulk delivery driver. Now I Know that this is similer to the Merchandise driver who delivers to gas stations and what not and that a Bulk Driver delivers to Grocrey stores and the like. But it's the "Mini" part that I don't get. Is the mini supposed to refer to the size of the trailer? the loads? can someone give me some details?

I think you would be delivering supplies to the machines that dispense at restaurants and convenience stores.

I work for Pepsi. The Coke mini bulk trucks here are like you said just a smaller trailer with a lift gate. They deliver mainly to gas stations and smaller ma and pa party stores. Occasionally they with deliver to the larger grocery stores if there isn't a bulk driver that is in the area. That way the normal "bulk delivery driver" doesn't have to travel out of his way to make the delivery which saves the company on fuel. All of the Coke delivery drivers in my area are "mini bulk" because they eliminated the side load bay trucks a few years back.
