    I agree man. We should just be able to lounge in our chonies and wait for those good jobs to drop out of the sky into our laps!

    im wanting to get on at us foods, but i hear that is almost impossible unless you have a direct connection there

    That's how I felt getting hired on at airgas. At airgas all job postings go out to current employees first. Luckily I knew someone who works there. Still took me awhile to get on. I've been applying to different job postings within the company since June 2014.

    i just looked on there site and it says they have a open spot here, i might put in a app to give it a try

    Go for it. Don't limit yourself to the driving only jobs. If you can get your foot in the door working in one of the stores or warehouse and you have a CDL you can always be a backup driver. Then when a driving spot opens you'd have a good shot at getting it.

    Yup. Search "LTL companies" in your area on google. There are plenty of jobs out there that you wouldn't have heard about at a CDL school (they're just trying to fill OTR jobs).

    Food delivery drivers do well. In my first year doing it on pace to make 75ish a year
