I turned in my bills to the guy at the desk when I got back to Clovis, so he took all the paperwork I had
also, one time I had a load with a blank BOL. I turned it in to Payroll in Florida who said "yea we can barely see your signature but this works"
they were glad I turned it in to them and didn't scan it or I woudlnt' have been paid for that load

Not true. A load only pays the driver a percentage if that's the way it was billed. Yes loads under 300 miles are generally billed as percentage loads, but only if the mileage between pick up and delivery is under 300. Doesn't matter how many drivers haul it. If you pick up a load and take it 50 miles to the yard but that load has 900 loaded miles, you'll get paid mileage pay for the miles between wherever you had to drive from, to the pickup, and back to the yard. That's it. Same thing with repowered loads. If a driver has a medical emergency and you have to go repower his load and deliver it 50 miles away, the only way you're getting paid percentage is if the load had less than 300 loaded miles on it to begin with. This was explained to me personally by the payroll dept. I repowered a load 45 miles outside of San Antonio that was supposed to deliver at HEB in San Antonio. I picked it up, delivered it, called payroll the next day and asked if I was gonna get paid percentage. Nope. Load wasn't billed as a percentage load. Total length of haul was too long.

I was told that Clovis runs are $50, I heard that from people the day I did Portales loads the day I got my truck. so God only knows how true that even is
also I don't assume percentage I just assume every load is 37CPM loaded and empty even if the load is 5 miles
it wasn't with IRT it was with a different company they gave me a 5 mile load, I didn't even fill out the trippack I felt like it would have been a waste of my time -
Now if you go to a farm somewhere off of 84 in texas and pick up milk and deliver it to southwest cheese in Clovis or wherever it is, then you would be paid a percentage. If you dropped it at the yard you will still be paid a percentage. It's not even 100 miles from farm to cheese plant.

I took it to the yard
...was it going to the Cheese plant? I would have been happy to take it there, I got screwed twice. oh well i'll be fine -
How the hell should I know? Seriously

irt is screwing you everyday of the week

how so? please go into specific details

Pulling a load without a freight bill is illegal. You should never haul a load if you don't receive paperwork. Cover your ###, jabber!

By only paying you $.37 per mile. Drivers Should be making more than that.slim shady Thanks this.
