Saw a Prime flatbed with skirts today. Yes I have seen a few of them as well also a few FUEL tankers up in Canada with skirts on them they actually looked good

We have trailer tails on all of our newer reefers. They do improve fuel economy, perhaps up to 0.5 mpg. That'll vary dome depending on the load weight, wind conditions, etc. Mechanically they work fine, even better if you don't back into stuff with them!

Well let's see, you just eliminated 3/4's of Werner, Swift, Western Express, and help me guy's, who else?

From what I've seen, ffe, and there's one more I can't seem to recall...

And I'd bet money on fedrex...some of them can't even go forwards right!

WOW, FFE huh? I seem to remember them being a top notch company, that required a few years experience before they would look at your application, much like Werner "used to be". Well, they all fall down soon enough!

I do notice a difference. I'm pulling one of our near retirement trailers (T131) with no skirts/tails and we're are at T300 and up for the newer ones that have both.

To it's credit, T131 pulls straight as an arrow and the manual pin release isn't a bear to release to slide the tandems so I can't complain too much.

Someone else on the forum said their training was lacking. I haven't come across a good driver yet. Saw one today, granted this is more etiquette, pulled up to the pumps and immediately began honking at another driver who had just pulled up. (Plenty of room to fuel, hadnt been there for more than 5 minutes.). Saw the driver of the first (not ffe) rig pull away, ffe still fueling. I went inside to get rid of some coffee. Came back out, ffe was sitting in the fuel lane, done and hadn't bothered to pull up.

Yeah, not pulling up after fueling stinks, and no need for the ignorance. That crap has been going on for more years than I can remember, or at the very least since I started driving 25 (almost 26 coming up) years ago

Hijacking seems to be pretty much "the thing to do" at just about any forum I am a member of. Sometimes it is done innocently, sometimes by accident, sometimes because the subject matter got boring?
