So, I've decided to get two slightly used trucks instead of one brand new. I'm looking at either mentioned in the title, with at least 1yr and 100k warranty left.
Let me know your experiences, hauling dry goods all over.

What motor is in the KW?
-
I agree what motor? I have a 2011 kw t660 with the paccar motor. It's eating me alive in repairs. As soon as it's paid for it'll be gone and I'll get an older truck.

Cummins ISX engine.
-
More info about your engine problems? Warranty?
-
Well in that case. Look at it this way you get what you pay for. The kw has better resell value usually. But it's much smaller inside. A lot of people don't like the smaller cabs some do. Fuel mileage will be about the same. A used non fleet truck kw will have better options then a typical Cascadia.

Warranty is over as if new years i rolled over 500k all emissions problems. Even with warranty i spent 10k in repairs last year. Hell just replaced the def doser 3 months ago and the engine light is on for it again.
-
You better hurry up pay it off nd get rid of it like danm i bet this truck stressed you out

A lot seem to not understand that WARRANTY does not cover lost revenue I have quite a few T660's ( BEEN LUCKY only 1 real LEMON ) and just started getting CASCADIAS last year so far they have been a good truck
-
Yeah I should add that was just the emissions system repairs not counting tires and normal PM's or the AC compressor going out. And two tow bills. Total down time? I didn't keep track but far more lost revenue then I would've liked. I could just be unlucky as I know other guys who have had good luck with the PACCAR motors but I wouldn't recommend one just to be safe.
