New career with southeast carriers from start to finish

Wake up everyone lol. How its everybody doing? Just wanted to check in to see if everyone is staying busy. Got my dad squared away and guess what in thinking if doing lol. Talked to my old dispatcher and the lady's in the office and was told the same thing again, come back when your ready. Where is everyone today? If your up north just to make you feel better it's been in the 60s here in Tennessee lol

 

I am with big g now...

 

I drive for then a few years ago. Wasn't a good fit for me. Why did you leave?

 

I needed good family coverage insurance which they do not have plus big g had a big pay raise...

also my miles went down quite a bit..they never were really up to par where i wanted them but it was acceptable until they failed to get the insurance we were told was coming...

all in all i like sec but now that i am with big g i am quite happy...the benefits are great and plenty of freight

 

I still keep in contact with a few big g drivers and hear the same complaint I had. No miles. Hope it works out with you.

 

I get plenty of miles..over 3k weekly...but i stay out 12 days and go home 2 days...the guys that go home every wknd dont make anything...you gotta be willing to work in otr...

 

You said you were getting the same miles at sec? You getting the same miles at big g?

 

Miles at sec started good but last 2 months dropped off quite a bit...would set at monroe,la for days waiting and come into the yard on a thursday to be told there was no freight until monday....
