Not to hijack this thread but? I only feel bad for the business owners and the law abiding citizens of Ferguson, MO, the ones that burnt the place down, all need to be behind bars

Man,I wish I could remember the place on I-10 rolling east out of Baytown TX toward the state line.
It was on the feeder road south of the interstate....Room for about 10 trucks..MAN good food!
Usually 2 little Texas gals working the counter.

I've been to the Boeing museum in Seattle and had uber take me to the smithsonian's in DC last summer. I'm going to get to The Houston Space center and other sights this summer... So many people just sit in their trucks just miles from some pretty cool places. It makes it a lot nicer if you can get out and see them!

Speaking of I-10. The Rice Palace TS in Crowley LA fixed up a Cajun meal I will never forget! And the service was some of the best and friendliest ladies EVER!

I stopped by the Tennessean a couple of weeks ago. They had the ribs on the buffet fresh from the kitchen. I had the bbq sandwich. They really know how to smoke their bbq.

Without getting political, I will tell you one thing. I did get a chance to run into a Ferguson police officer. I said hello shook his hand and thanked him for his service.

I'm sure you can fill in the blanks on what my opinion on this topic is now..

Don't you know they are just victims of oppression letting their feelings of unjust marginalization be known? :laughing-guffaw:
That's great Generic. By the way are you still with that co-driver you don't like or you running solo now?

I am a big baseball fan. The first job I had out of trucking school was driving for a travelling dance competition. I had a rental car at every stop we had. I saw the Boston Red Sox, Texas Rangers, San Fran Giants, I also saw 3 minor league games, and two college games. I also visited the American Pickers tv show stores in Iowa, the Gas Monkeys garage in Dallas (Fast and Loud)and the Pawn shop in Detriot on 8 mile, with that other pawn shop show... I had a blast. I knew the tour wojld end...so I lived it up while I could....

On this job, I saw the Minnesota Twins while on a 34, and went to the beach in Corpus Cristi while broke down with my trainer.
I also like sight seeing.... just seeing the sunrise, or the mountian, the grasslands ect every day is so cool. taking 2 lane roads across Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Wyoming, South Dakota, Ohio, Indiana Texas and Oklahoma, ect. is so awesome! I'm not sure how people get bored. ?.. I love this job!!

Why stay in the truck.... get out and enjoy life!!

Hey DriverToBroker. No she got fired (and also said herself shes done with trucking) after jackknifing the truck. This one is a little younger than the last one, a little prettier and a little nicer. You know what they say, "a 2 outside the truck is a 10 in the truck". No? Nobody says that? Just me? Okay...lol

In 3 months I will be at 11 months experience. Then I will start applying for LTL and tanker outfits.
