Yall keep saying the same thing over and over again it does you good to discredit someone else to make you feel better like i said not anyone of you will stop me from wanting to drive not even your 10 paragraph comments seems you have plenty time on your hands to even worry about my grammer i had incidents being a newbie and nor did i put blame solely on my training. So on that note i found a job orientation next week and getting the needed training but im sure you will all find something negative to say about that. Toodles

No, im quite happy for you, I was trying to break down some of the issues folk see with this thread. Grammar is a good skill FYI, in the information age we live in we communicate through text, knowing how to compose your thoughts is a great skill to have.

I wish you the best, but I do think parts of your thought process need to improve if you are going to make it in trucking or do well at life in general.

I hope it works out for you (and those around you). I really do. At the end of the day...this is a situational awareness (or lack thereof) issue. Could your training (or lack thereof) be a contributing factor? Sure. However, there's no excuse for making the same serious mistake three times in short order.

THAT is why you were let go. You weren't let go because you had three incidents. If you had three non-related incidents, you might still be working there. You were let go because you demonstrated that you either didn't care to be observant of what's going on around you...or you're just not a trainable asset.

I don't say that to be a douche. I'm just hoping that maybe you'll look at this from another angle and change how you're operating. Good luck.

I doubt she will change, if you look up her posts from Nov of 2013 you can see she went to a 4 week school, and after a full driving school she decided she couldnt drive yet, so she has had the 4 week school and the 200 hour Swift mentor program and still can't drive in a safe manner, and won't listen to anyone that doesn't tell her what she wants to hear.

We will probably be reading a thread in a month or two from her asking if we know anyone that will take her with 4 or 5 preventables on their record. Or find out she went with someone like CR England and found out they aren't a great outfit and how its just so unfair no one else will take her

I hope I'm wrong, but after school and a mentorship program she was hitting things left and right, some people just are not cut out for driving.

Ummmmmm you're still not ready , this entire thread screams that fact. What you really need to do is just take a deep breath , and a really long look at what you want out of this career choice. Trucking is one of the hardest jobs you'll ever do...in all aspects of the spectrum. You just haven't acquired / mastered all the skills necessary to do it quite yet. Try and find a company willing to TRAIN you..not a company that will use you and another driver to just move freight from door to door. When you get an interview ask them about their training process , if they don't require the training driver to sit in the passenger seat for the entire time , then give that company a pass , there are companies out here that do this. Drop the attitude , and allow folks in positions to help...actually help......
