We will NEVER do another load for this company...They don't put flat rates on their confirmations.
They put misc fees on their rate confirmations...like good communication $35, on time delivery $75, etc.
They call you every hour. Their rates suck...They didn't pay us....And are now threatening us and calling us liars.
Totally lack of integrity and professional..truly makes brokering companies seem like snakes.
Drivers/Carriers beware of Sunteck, they didn't pay us and don't treat drivers with respect...Aren't worth the headache.
SunTeck Brokerage - not worth the headache - Didn't pay us

Is there more to the story here??? We're you on time for del??? Did they state the expectations before you took the load??? If you knew beforehand that there would be piddly things like having to call every hour, I would say you got yourself into the mess. As for them outright not paying you, if you picked up goods and moved them you are entitled to your dues. Fight them to the end on that one!!!

They took 60 days to pay us. Had to post against their bond too.
-
Why would you book a load without a rate confirmation?

Mayfield Express is leaving Panther and moving trucks to Sunteck. They say all their drivers who are taking Sunteck freight are doing well.

Not really sure about what happen to eptrucks but I haul for them quite a bit and never had any problems. I use their quick pay and they have always paid as agreed.........raised eyebrow on this one.............

It sounds like there may be more to the story than the op is telling. If I receive a rate confirmation that has charges or terms that I have not agreed, I mark through them or have the broker change the rate confirmation before I accept the load. I never sign any rate confirmation that has fines attached for any reason. If the broker doesn't want to send a clean rate confirmation then I won't do business with them. It isn't worth the potential hassle. No one twists your arm to haul a particular load. It is easier to walk way than have a problem collecting money later.

Apparently the OP doesn't intend to write anymore about this...It's a waste of everyone's time if you can't back up the claim with more insight...

So true however I would not sign anything with a mark through on it. Once I send a rate conformation to a carrier I tell them if they have any problems or questions call me before sending it back. I make mistakes sometimes. They call me back and get a new conformation. Unfortunately with everything done over the internet or by fax the broker may claim the mark out was from a machine. They will probably loose in court but it will still be a hassle to get paid.

Getting a revised rate confirmation is the best way to go. I usually pick up the phone and call whomever sent the rate confirmation if there are any questions. I had something come up a few months ago from a company with whom I have done business for many years. It was a new person that I had not been used to dealing. He sent a rate confirmation with a number of fines, penalties, etc., with monetary repercussions. I called him and told him that I would not agree to any rate confirmation that had that type of language. He did not want to change it, so I told him that he should find another carrier to haul his load.Criminey Jade, RedForeman and indspirit Thank this.
