I did get fixed and was down for 6 days total, mainly waiting for the shop to receive the parts from Eaton for the repair (Wiring harness and clutch actuator). Kept in close contact with Tim throughout the repair and he was able to get me dispatched on a load shortly after being repaired. Abilene took good care of me here both during my stay in Kingman and breakdown pay. I still managed just over 5300 miles for the pay period plus breakdown pay. I was happy. I grossed just under $2400 this pay period. Headed back to Califorina and picked up an HP load heading to eastern PA about 220 miles north of the Richmond yard that delivers Tuesday morning. My plan is to drop it early at the Richmond yard Sunday evening and pickup a load heading home to take care of a few doctor appointments. By the time I get back it will be just over 3 weeks out. Recharge and head out for another round.

George if you want pin point directions into the world famous Hunts Point Market, here they are. Remember, I grew up in the families produce market, where else? but there. I might have some pointers to help you out.
Cross the GW Bridge. Make sure you are in the middle lane coming onto the Cross Bronx Expressway. When you pass the Third Ave Exit get into the right lane. Take 895 south, The Sheridan Expressway, exit #4B. You can only go one way. Take that about 3/4 of a mile to the first exit. Go off the ramp and go straight under the elevated train. Watch the 2 support poles you have to maneuver around. Follow that road you are on to about the third or fourth light to Leggett Ave. Turn left. That will run into Randall Ave. Follow Randall Ave to Halleck St and turn right. You will see signs for the Hunts Point Produce Center, don't go into the produce center, you need to go to the meat center. Take Hallleck St to Food Center Drive and turn left. Follow that around, cross the R/R tracks and the meat market entrance will be on your right Make sure you have $25 for the entrance fee, it's a city run entity and they charge to enter.
If you need any pointers just give me a call. I'm pretty sure I'll have the answers to help you get in and out. Remember one thing, don't stop anywhere after dark to sightsee, talk to people or take pictures, this is the Hunts Point section of the Bronx, one of the toughest areas in the big bad city. But, with some common sense and always watching your surroundings, you'll do just fine, I did for the 15 years of my youth growing up there, now look at me, I get to go anywhere in the country and not have an issue. Call me, I'll be glad to guide you in. Good Luck.Jrdude5, DriverMike1984, rachi and 4 others Thank this. -
