Oh please folks the truck driver never tells the whole story. He probably had cash advances, child support and insurance.that came out. I just want to know where her seat belt was, and did she start getting kinda hot after awhile. Maybe it was me just wanting to uhhhh get her to stop talking. Gee's Louise shut up already.n snack on these nevermind.

I think so because a L/O gets all kinds of deductions..57 dollars for a company driver means he only worked one day..

You caught that too huh? in all fairness to her she did half ### glance at the left one once without turning her head so that makes 4.

First thing I thought when I saw this was how many times would she look at her mirrors while she whines. Nowhere near enough times. As I expected

i didn't so much listen to what she was saying as observe how inattentive she was.

A friend of my wife had a son that went thru training with one of the megas and is now driving solo. She said that he is getting small paychecks, way less than he had coming. I asked her how much advance money he took. Next time I saw her she told me her son said that his advances did not count against his pay. That it was for him to eat on and such. I let her know the truth (she already had figured it out). Can't hardly believe these people thinking advances are free money. Wonder where this guy was during his orientation.

Oh no! They're gonna make the big money by leasing their own big truck! You can't tell fools anything. Or this broad either. Why is she making a video while driving? To all YouTube truckers: NOBODY CARES. You're boring. Not to mention they do this to themselves. Woe is me! I don't lease a truck, and my pay checks can be upwards of $2000 sometimes. Denali said it right. They refuse a lot, they spend a lot, and they wind up broke.

True story. This happens all the time in a professional career. Yea sure keep blaming the drivers and excuse the companies that do this. Its not for the fact that thousands suffer from this, its the fact drivers excuse it, one way or the other. If everyone is a big dummy as some of you claim than truly the trucking world is populated by hundreds of dumb ##### who do the job. Does it make you feel pride that you can do the job of a dumb ###.
Sure most won't take it and quit. Where do you think the turn over comes from? What do you think drives the training industry? Its set up unfairly to get rid of people to bring in more people. Its a rigged game from the start.

I started with CR in 2000 and in the six months I worked there I only seen two checks over 400 bucks and I did everything they told me too. Companies like this have been doing it for decades and all anyone does is make excuses for them.

When its a few you can excuse that by saying they are dumb #####. But when it a industry entrenched practice its not the fault of honest hard working people who are only trying to better themselves. Hell I would tell them to stay on food stamps, welfare, and or unemployment. Before I would tell them to enter trucking by way of the training mills and scams.

Every time you see a driver go through this you should be ashamed to be a part of an industry that is dishonest. As a matter of fact if you blame the drivers you actively support such dishonesty and abuse.

Most are not even given a fair chance to succeed. Yet they are the dumb #####. NOT the industry. Predatory employment should be condemned not supported. Its not a badge of honor if you beat the odds. Its a ####### shame you had to put up with it in the first place.

There are no other industry in America that does this, is allowed too, and is excused by the very professional people who do it. Its with malice of forethought that these companies have come up with to take advantage of people they claim to want to help in order to lure them in to prey on them. No ####### excuse why this should be allowed to continue and its a industry wide shame that it ever began.

If you call 200$ a week for food and necessities, "conservative", maybe you should take a good look at what you are buying. Heck that wasn't even counting walmart trips.

Like someone said, we don't know the story behind the 57$ week. That's his net, not gross. Plus it could be a paperwork timing thing with bigger checks on both sides of that one.

200 is conservative. Hell if you eat three times a day like a normal person you would be up around 30 bucks a day. 210 a week. And thats not even spending on anything else. But I guess its a pride thing among drivers that they make so little that they have to starve themselves to claim they make money. LOL
