Can you use them stock? Yes. But it's always nice to get them tuned. Why? Those Midnight Specials are class C amps and as such tend to splatter over other frequencies if overdriven. Better to get the radio to give a lower resting carrier ('dead key') and then modulate ('swing') up to it's rated output. Doing this allows the amp to run cooler and since you aren't driving it at maximum the whole time it will sound better and last longer. Choose your shop carefully as there are a LOT of hacks out there.

Don't forget to ground everything and use the proper gauge wire for the amp.
