this is the worst company I have ever worked for I even started out with swift when I first started in this business 20 years ago and Swift is even better than this place I work for this place for 2 weeksran over 3,000 miles for them in those two weeks and now because I left they refused to pay meeven though I did everything I was supposed to do I even have on the Qualcomm saying in route it back this waythey still won't pay me they charge you for every little thing you do they charge a dollar 75 a mile to you if you drive out a routewhen you send them a message on the Qualcomm takes six hours or more to get a responseI had a break down where my reefer would not cool and breakdown gave me 3 wrong numbers to a repair place and then told me in the end that I couldn't even get what I needed done repaired there had to go somewhere elsefound out while I was there they can't even keep trainers or any drivers because that's how bad they are dispatch sucks you don't want to work for this company I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau because I made this company money and because I left they are not going to pay me what they owe me they are using everything they can find in there fine print and there systems as an excuse to not pay mejust trust me on this with 20 years in the business this is not a company you want to work for

I'm not went there cause I needed job quick after having some personal issues and had taken 2 months off and then ran into money problems like who I'm with now

Thats a shame I thought they were an OK company. I know lots of the companies want to charge out of route, I had some simular problems with May Trans years ago, once I proved that I actually traveled less miles than dispatched on the load they refunded it. But they took my safety bonus for a tire on a trailer that I was repowering in Albuquerque, I had refused to hook up to it until they changed out 2 tires that were down to the cord in multiple places.

Yea they not OK tho bunch of thief's was counting on that money for child support now have to hope domestic relations doesn't put me in jail or worst pull my license until I get paid from new company

Why did you quit? You were only there a couple of weeks..,
Why did you need to go out of route, was it for weather or a road closure?
Companies like SRT watch the fuel cost like it was Gold! I know they will write up a driver for over-idle and being late on appointments, but I have never heard they back out the over-route mileage from a last check unless there was an issue. -
I had the same issues a few years ago with IWX Motor Freight. Got called onto the carpet when I was in Springfield for not following their routing. I told them they never give me routing and the Safety Manager called me a liar. So I went outside and put myself available for a load on the QC. I got the load info without any routing info as usual. I called him and asked him to come outside and meet me at my truck. He did, I showed him the load and he was very apologetic and we both went inside to dispatch. He asked them where the routing info was and they told him they hadnt been giving that in years. If the driver cant get from one place to the next on his own we dont need him.
Never got bothered by the home office again.DustyRoad Thanks this. -
Cause they don't communicate sent them message on Qualcomm took them 6 hrs to respond had issue with reefer breakdown didn't kno nothing gave me 3 wrong numbers for the place they were sending me to get it fixed they sent me on a empty move then tried to cheat me out of those miles just everything was bad that I could think of
DustyRoad Thanks this. -
Well let's see you work 2 weeks. Then you leave. Ok how about the time and money they spent to ship your happy butt to their location. Then the hotel room costs, the drug test costs.
Any meals they might of supplied you, plus any advances you took.
Do I need to go on any more?
Also some places state in their handbooks, if you quit before a certain date they can and will back charge you..
Did you even read their handbook???MJ1657 and DriverMike1984 Thank this. -
Then you go work for them and let's see how long you last o and they should do what they say they will do our not preach it during orientation then
