This website offers cdl tests. These are the same questions dmv will ask you. So, try to do air break, combination, and general tests. They all need to be passed for you to get a permit.

I am also from GA. North GA Tech has a really good program, and they have some scholarships available. Several companies will also reimburse you once you start driving.

Go to a truck stop and talk to a couple of drivers and learn from them what the job is really all about. If you can find the company trucks that you would be trying to get your cdl through I would talk to their drivers too. Study the cdl manuals for the written part to get your permit.

go to dmv ask for their commercial driver guide and get your paperwork ready for when you take your learner's permit
