Sorry to hear that and hope she's ok.

 

Fuel pump has gone bad. All the fuel will have to be drained, tanks taken off and cleaned, parts replaced, all to make sure that no metal is left in the fuel system. A motel will be my home for the next 2 days, minimum. Well yea!

 

Hope nothing serious with the wife. The car can be replaced but she can't. Hope you find the owner of the horse maybe their insurance will pay for the car.

 

Pan it sucks big time with the fuel pump. Hope you get some pay for it being down.

She is fine. Bruise on her arm. Car is total loss, but got lucky. The insurance company said it was worth about 4k more than we could see in blue book value, so we will have about 4k left after paying it off for new car. So only real financial loss is the cost of the rental car for the 2 weeks it looks like it will take to get the money. My wife is going nuts trying to decide what kind of car she likes. And with all the sales this weekend it sucks that we will not have the down payment cash. Allot of the new car sales around here are cheaper than the 20-30k mile used ones.

 

been that way for years, chrome. as much as i hate new car purchases for the depreciation. it's cheaper then buying used.

i just purchased a 2014 hyundai. the cheapest model with the complete package. after rebates it was cheaper then buying up to 3 year old used cars.

 

Lol JJ got me another Mustang and im still not sure I like it when the top is down.
