It takes many months to complete a well. If oil stays low, it will be a drawn out slow death. If it goes back up, then we're all good. There's nothing wrong with forming a Plan B and preparing for the worst.

A couple months ago the rig count in North Dakota was at 210. Today it is 135. That's a HUGE drop. Where will it be in another couple months? They won't poke the hole in the ground and stop, they'll complete the well. That's why theres still all this work today, because we're all still completing wells. Sand and belly/side will be first to disappear, followed by oil and water once they finish a lot of these pipelines. People looking to come up here and work, I'd still do it, we still got a year or two of work left, just expect rates to keep dropping, pay to drop, benefits to drop, etc. And a lot more sitting for percentage drivers.

Baker Hughes closed Eldorado yard and laid everybody off. Some were offered transfers..........

Friend of mine in corporate said all travel suspended at my co. I expect them to cut me at any moment, already been threatened and extended once. Don't think I'll make two......

    Just sayin......it's real.

That sucks, but if you had a "good ride" for a time, guess that is all anyone can hope for. Good luck there, chalupa.

Hope tho doesn't happen to us all, tough times that way no one deserves, we all bust our @$@ off, but is the name of game. Wish I could of said saved a lot but not so easy with family you know.

Thanks Don....no problem, got it wired bud. Looking forward to some down time. And a good ride? Top shelf man! Put in over 100,000 feet since July and learned something new with every foot. Way better than the best trucking job!
