This is sort of a survey? For what reason where you pulled over for?

I see trucks pulled over and I just wonder what it is for. Speeding? Following to Closely? Unsafe Lane Deviation? Lane Restriction violaton?

    So, what was it for?

I have only pulled over once. An IA CMV Enforcement Officer pulled me over to check my OSOW Permit.

I'd include, being pulled around back at a scale too. ( or dragged to a scale) When I pulled a dump trailer, I got pulled over because the LEO wanted to know if I was hauling magnesium chips.(???) Many times for weight, got dragged to a scale, (twice) because a local cop thought I looked over weight. ( Once the scale was broke, and he had to let me go, boy that felt great) Once, cop pulled me over, I pulled a covered dump (with loading covers on the top) and the cop thought that was the tops of the material ( said he never saw a covered dump trailer like that) Got pulled around back at a scale because the woman cop said I didn't have any markings on the door. I assured her I did, and she said , "Bring it around again", there was the name plain as day, she said, "well, it wasn't there before, take it away" (HA, busted) Got stopped many times when I pulled RR cans. Mostly for checking weight, which, we never got any bills with them, and I just made out a POD( proof of delivery) and I'd put 45,000 on all of them, and they let me go. Mud flaps on the trailers, once for a "swinging" license plate on the front bumper, never speeding (most of the time I drove trucks that you couldn't speed if you wanted to) and once for going around a scale, but got out of that, and of course, many times for over on an axle in a scale.

When I had a truck that would run triple digits it was for speeding....
About 3 am on a Sunday morning. I was in the "zone" and was hammering to the house.
    86 in a 60 zone.....Oh crap!!!

Back in the mid 90's I got busted doing 121 out in west Texas...The cop said it took over 5 miles to catch me....lol!

I beat both tickets but it was a huge Attorney bill!

Never had an accident, unsafe lane change or any other of those type tickets...
I got older and drive my castrated truck....

I swear.....The cop had faulty radar maybe? He did show it to me...
All I know is the speedo was buried way past 85 where it topped out.

I know the truck would do well over 100 but the 121 had me scratching my head too...

    I had a ProStar that would run 106....It was a 2012 model,13 speed with a Cummins...
Would blow some of those big trucks minds when a "fleet" looking truck dusted them.

I have been pulled over twice. Once for failure to obey traffic control device (scam set up by a small town PD)

And once in NH by a super attractive NH state trooper. She said they had reports of a tractor trailer speeding and driving eradicly and speeding. Speed limit was 65 and I was in a 65 mph truck I was pretty amused when she said speeding. She apoligized over and over again and said her father is a trucker and she tries not to bother us. Checked my license and let me on my way. Unfortunately she didn't want to search me (she was def a 10)
